Zara Evans

Zara has strong multidisciplinary background. She holds a BA/BSc in Psychology and Biomedical Science, and a Master of Public Health from the University of Queensland.


Zara has extensive experience in biotechnology, disability advocacy, and the implementation and evaluation of community programs. Through her work in diverse and highly technical fields, she has developed a strong set of complementary research, analytic, organisational and communication skills. These skills inform her structured and ends-oriented approach to consulting.


Zara is interested in understanding how knowledge is generated and in the reverberating impacts research methods, ways of knowing, and narratives can have. She is a critical thinker and takes a systems based approach to her work.


Zara is deeply passionate about social justice. She believes in striving for equitable improvements for stakeholders and society more broadly, relying on frequent reflection on the upstream genesis of problems clients are facing, and ensuring data is collected and stories are told with integrity and with reflexivity on the impacts of methodology.
